Korea – June 2012 –Seoraksan and Sinheungsa Temple

Seoraksan and Sinheungsa Temple (June 2012, Day 5)

Seoraksan

Seoraksan is a National Park of South Korea. The snow at the mountain would not melt for a long time keeping the rocks in a permanent state of white. We were told to prepare an extra outerwear / jacket since we will go to mountain area. But it was not needed. The weather was rather warm, possibly because of the crowd, I guessed. Anyway, I enjoyed the visit to this beautiful mountain. I didn’t climb much… I was too tired  ;-)

View from my hotel room. I can't remember the name of the hotel.

Such a nice view from my hotel room. So green <3  …. but I can’t remember the name of the hotel.

Sinheungsa Temple

Sinheungsa Temple is located within Seoraksan area. One can opt for temple stay at Sinheungsa, which I might consider for my future trip to Korea.
